Sadara Montenegro has more than 15 years of experience in the Civil, Administrative, Public Procurement and Sports Law areas. After obtaining her LL.M. in Sports Law at the University of Lleida, Spain, she became one of the few specialized women in Sports Law in Latin America.
As Founding Partner of Leyva, Montenegro, Trigueros, Abogados S.C., Sadara has led high-level negotiations that have resulted in favorable agreements for its clients. She has represented and advised, mainly, national sports federations, in which she has been designated as a member of the Director’s Board (Legal Representative) and in its Disciplinary and Electoral Commissions, such as Federación Mexicana de Ciclismo, A.C., Federación Mexicana de Taekwondo, A.C. and Federación Mexicana de Asociaciones de Atletismo, A.C.
Sadara directs her passion to extend the knowledge of Sports Law and, therefore, she has served as lecturer, coordinator and teacher of important educational institutions in Mexico City. She has also published books and articles focused on sports law, which have become a source of research for those interested in the subject.
