Sadara Montenegro

Sadara Montenegro González graduated at the Escuela Libre de Derecho and obtained her Masters Degree (LL.M.) in Sports Law at the Universidad de Lleida (University of Lleida), Spain.

Since 2001, she has developed her professional experience in the areas of civil, administrative, labor, criminal, public contracts and bids, consumer's protection, and sports law. She is a founder partner of the firm Leyva, Montenegro, Trigueros Abogados, S.C.

She has actively participated with Al Consumidor, A.C. and is a founder associate of the Asociación Mexicana de Investigación Jurídica – Deportiva, A.C.; as a coauthor, she has published in the Academic Magazine of the Faculty of Law of the La Salle University, sixth year, number 11, July 2008, and also as a coauthor of the books "La Comisión de Apelación y Arbitraje del Deporte" (The Appealing and Arbitration Sports Commission"), published by the Senate of the Republic and the Asociación Mexicana de Investigación Jurídica – Deportiva, A.C, and "Justicia Deportiva" (Sports Justice), which release is in progress.

In the academic scope, she has been lecturer, coordinator and professor in topics related to Sports Law in prestigious universities such as the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City Campus. She is currently appointed as Labor Law professor and specialist at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Santa Fe Campus.
